Granted--the back yards slope slightly toward the Drain. So--water tends to collect here,
as it is at the run-off site....

Theoretically, this Storm Drain was supposed to straddle both properties--but our houses
were built 1 1/2 yrs. before the ones behind us. People had erected fences and had
built beds, etc...so the Co. had to put the drain on only the back of me property.

Believe you me THAT owner bitched and bitched--and, I believe, he got some kind of
an allotment because of it. They no longer live there. He died. She moved to a Condo--
and the new owner put his fire pit on the drain and burns all his wood scraps in there.
He has been slowly burning up all the firewood that used to lay all along the edge of my
bed back there. Almost done!
He picks up all the fallen off branches from my Maples and uses them as kindling.
Saves me work!
