The fox are usually very skiddish, but this year they seem almost tame as you can see from the proximity to this wild cat that wandered up freezing and starving this winter. She definitely won't allow petting but we have been providing her with food and bedding on the porch. Looks like we may soon have 6 or 8 more. Across the pond are in the mornings it is not unusual to see as many as 10 deer crossing and an occasional coyote. The coyotes are big and healthy here some as big as full grown german shepards.
