I need someone to go with me to kick JB and Jnette into "Spring". I could not believe the national news was talking about another storm heading JB's way. Evelyn, this year we have been down to 21 degrees which is low for us. We usually do not freeze. We have had snow three times in the last 10 years. Our part of Las Vegas is close to the west mountains. We are at 3200 and snow is usually above 3500. We got snow a few months ago, I think. Our biggest problem is "high" winds. We have very little humidity and when we have winds blowing all February and March, everything just dries out. And when the roses and irises burst into full bloom, then we have high winds for about 4 days just to destroy all the blooms. I watched the end of the Daytona 500. It was great fun. 20 year old, 2nd major race, wins Daytona. That was fun to watch. I did laundry, cleaned out drawers and started on de-cluttering boxes on the dining room table. This is our snow storm a few months ago. I am really tired and am going to hit the bed early. Later friends, Sharon. I have irrigation repair men coming tomorrow and my two laborers. |
