Good Morning Ladies,
As you can see i had my surgery a week ago today. Boy let me tell you it hurt worse thana any other sugery I've had. They cut my thumb area open, took out the bone, scraped the srthritis off then put it back in, cut a tendon made a pad and put it where they scraped the bone. Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs I was in la la land. Had to take really strong pain pills every 3 -4 hours. Friday the pain started easing off. Come Sat morn when I woke up no pain so I decided to stay off pills see how the pain was going to be. Did really good until last night I over did and had some pain. Will be going to doc Wed. to see how everything is going. Doug has been a very good nurse . We went for a short walk yesterday, but it was enough for me. Dang can't believe how weak i was.

Doug can not have the surgery done on his neck. Too risky. Doc told him it was a good thing he had full body MRI done and that he saw the films before he did it. So he is going to have a cortizone shot that should last 6 months.

We are going to Chili's for dinner tonight. My Valentine present is a new bed. It's one of those posterpedic beds. The memory foam thingies. ((((((((SIGH)))))) Heaven
