A lady named Linda Sample has turned her daylily addiction into a business, i.e. she's now running a daylily nursery. She's trialed hundreds of daylilies to find the ones that work best in Florida. She has two gardens, one in Tampa and another up near Lakeland, (I think). They have a nice website at http://www.samplegardens.com I'm going for a tour with my gardening group in April. Can't wait! Daylilies are so great - if you can get them established in the garden, they are so easy care. This is a cool peachy one with lots of diamond dusting on the petals. It's in my daughter's garden in Salt Lake City but I've brought home a start to try here in Florida. It's a noid we got in a mixed bag . . |
