The head is just sculptured out of the ground pork and part of the end of the ham that I had sliced up to layer in the body. I tried to make it look as much like a whole pig as I could. It was for a memorial party for a dear friend who adored anything made with bacon. He would have tried to eat the whole thing himself, even at age 86. Patti
