It was around 26F with a wind chill in the low teens and horribly overcast, but he was right where Elphaba said he would be. I watched him for about an hour until I had to head back to the truck to thaw.

No beautiful golden light in my photos as in Elphaba's, but I did get within 15 feet or so to get some feather detail and the overcast skies acted like a big old softbox.

I still have around 50 more shots of him to process, but so far, these two are my favorites.
