joeswife wrote: The Loco Poly was at our Lowes, on the clearance rack. Some of them were already going dormant. I should have bought more, But since my other Polys are dormant, and mt other cool one from last year never woke up, I decided to just get two. I immediately put pyrethins in the soil , as their plants always have horrible big fungus gnats in the pots. I do mean BIG. I found one crawling out as I was looking at it in the light here at home, and couldn't believe how big it was. I thought it was a small fly. Any ways, Rachel, I will save you one of them. ( not the gnat, but the Poly, Loco) I would go back there, but we are in a horrible blizzard right now with temps in the near zero range, and this is after a nice almost 70 degree weekend. I never heard of a watermelon hoya before. Kay thanks for the offer, but all my moss you sent is thriving, and some has hopped around to other places already..(one made it to the chalice vine and I have no idea how that got there) The Amaryllis blooms are beautiful. I still have not ever seen one of them in real life, but I have the orginal bulb my daughter Rose gave me one year, it just leafs out. PreGirl, I am so impressed by your figs! Good Job! I want one, and this spring will go alooking for one that is maybe a couple years old. Last Night I worked on a few seed boxes for a couple of you .. Rita, I have some new and exciting seeds from Belize! Dzzy, and PreGirl, I mite shorten your user names, but I am sure glad you have come to visit us! Welcome to the bestest Tropical Plant forum in the world.! Kay, I will be sure to send a pretty drool mop with your box ...
