Dave, I like your weeds.
Kay, the cutting that is rooting is from a bend that i semi bent and nicked, it is already showing signs of swelling at the nodes. It is a big vine. As soon as I get my laptop back from the putor doctor, I will show you.

Up to almost 70 tomorrow and then snow again sat, sun and monday. I started about 70 seed cups and a grow cell planter tonight. I had fun.
Rita that flame vine is awsome.
MJ's, my i indica bit the dust or is dormant, I am hoping for the dormant part. I always bring it inside.
Lin, I love your robin, We have a couple that never left for the winter. I think they are well nested in the house eating ivy we have going on here.
I saw a Hawk go after either a mouse or a small bird at the feeder yesterday and was freaked out. I fear my lone albino mourning dove will get snatched. I put his food on the table in the dog run so he doesn't have to balance on the feeder. I also thought blue jays and cardinals were territorial, but for some reason this winter. we have three pairs of each every morning out back. DDh heard the hoot owl last weekend. I think the mice hang out under all the feeders now. Havn't caught one in quite a while in the traps here.
These are from three years ago, I still have them, they are waking up again, down here in the garden. It is worth it to me to bring them in every year.
