Great Blue Herons are abundant here, Great Egrets however are seen only in warmer temp. We do have night Herons and more... Migrant water fowls; American coots can be seen in big flocks. They arrive late Autumn and leave for Northern states in early spring when the weather begins to warm up. Others, Cormorrants, Grebes, Common Loons, and one more species which escape my memory for the time being. :)
