Wow, looks like I missed a bunch of posts before my last one. I don't know how that happened but I don't understand my computer at times, although it was probably just me and not the computer. We've had company since last Saturday morning and they were supposed to stay until tomorrow but left early today heading to SW Florida to try and beat the severe weather that began here @ 3 O'clock this afternoon. We've been under Tornado watches and warnings until just now ... they just announced that the national weather service has canceled all watches and warnings. Some parts of central Fla were hit really hard, hail of up to 2" and winds of 80 and 90 mph. Still a lot of rain coming down but we can sure use it. I don't like lightning but it's the tornado's that really scare me! I went into the front bathroom earlier with pillows, a blanket and the cat! I'm glad the worst is over.

Rita: Your Sinningia: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=8325496 is gorgeous and indeed looks to be S. sellovii. If you scroll down towards the bottom of there are a few photo's for comparison: http://www.gesneriads.ca/alphabet.htm#S

Your Peace Lily looks like one of the one of the large variety.

Really nice GH!! I'm going to show my husband those photo's and hint that I'd like a smaller version, LO

Dave: Stunning scenery!! It's always so nice getting to see pictures of the beautiful area where you live!

candela: Lucky you, living down Miami way ... you can grow so many beautiful plants in South Fla, like that Portea petropolitana! I saw your photo in Plant Files not long ago ... beautiful plant!

I wonder if spring is on it's way? Yesterday when I was out in the yard I noticed this Cherry Laurel tree blooming!
