Wish it had held off another day. Drat the snow!! We are looking at 6 to 10 inches Wednesday and Thursday. *sigh* I am so ready for Spring. I was looking through my seeds this morning trying to decide what to plant. It's so hard to leave anything out but I have no choice. I had a heart murmur when I was a kid. Result of a bout with German measles. Also left me with a dry, hacking cough that lasted 8 months. This does seem to be getting a bit worse but when you don't have insurance you don't have a lot of options. I had one of my goats for sale. I was asking $50 for her. I traded her yesterday for $50 worth of hay, 10 bales @ $5 a bale. I had already bought hay from the guy and it's some of the best I have ever gotten. Well worth the price. So I will still be getting what I wanted for her and I was going to use the money to buy hay anyway. :) I am also going to breed my brown doe to his brown buck at no cost. A friend from church is bringing his buck to my house on Thursday to breed my black doe. I need to move the brown doe to my friend's before that. I want to use different bucks so I can sell the kids as breeding pairs. I don't want to keep the kids, I just want to be able to milk my goats. Talked to my Mom tonight. My younger DGS was in the ER last night. For several months he has been throwing up and having pains in the bottom of his stomach. The hospital told them it was strep throat. Go figure. He is still sick and in a lot of pain. My son is taking him to the ER again. I suggested a different hospital. It sounds like his appendix. Please say a prayer for him. I prayed with him over the phone. Poor little guy sounded so pitiful. |
