One day, I made the "fatal" mistake of looking them up on eBay. That did it! I don't have a lot, really, but I am happy with what I have. I have a few orchids, but they take a little more care than I have time to give & haven't bloomed for a long while. they need repotted, fertilized and are prone to virus, so I will stick with the ammies. The flower doesn't last long, but that's what cameras are for. And they kinda resemble an orchid. I would like to try some hybridizing but at age 67, dunno about that. I do try cross-pollenating when flowers are blooming and you can freeze the pollen in 35 mm camera containers & use it when others are blooming later, just like orchids. If this doesn't fool up, I will try to include a pix of my seedling babies: |
