Butch will appear at some point. He is the begonia master.
Logee's is about 3+ hours from Amsterdam, but only 35 minutes from WPI where my son attends college. Worcester is also close to Tower Hill where the Buxton Begonia society hosts some events.
I work in Albany with people from East Greenbush, a very popular suburb.
Seriously, if you are ever in the area stop by. I have about 200 or so begonias, as well as other tropical plants. The greenhouse is 20 x 36 and stocked to the rafters, literally. I used to get the Dahlias through a co-op group I belong to, but there is never enough room in the greenhouse.
You know, I think there is an adenium grower near Rob, if you are interested. I'm about 40 minutes from Lyndon Lyon in Dolgeville. And only 20 minutes from Piping Rock Orchids. I take cash to both places, empty my pockets, my wallet and the seat cushions.
A picture of one of my dragon wings this summer.
