Betty, you wrote "Interesting trip" and "tell you about it tomorrow" - and now, nothing! What did you do? Elope? And Marilynne, what happened at the dentist? What your mom used to call a cold in your teeth was likely neuralgia, which is a real B***h! I hope you haven't got that. A tooth is so much simpler. Just hope you are again sleeping on your side and enjoying life. That amaryllis is so beautiful. My T&T catalogue arrived yesterday, and I'm putting off looking at it as I know I won't get anything done for days once I start. Too much to do. One bathroom sink started having water underneath day before Christmas, and then the other on Christmas day. Got the plumber in and he fixed one, but the other needed a part. Yesterday noticed that the kitchen sink also is wet underneath, same spindle problem I think, so went and got a new faucet set. Plumbers were supposed to be back today and was going to get them to install as one new hole will have to be drilled, but they didn't come and when I phoned they said he was off with "flu" - I think the kind you get from over-exuberant New Year's Eve parties. Must have been a doozy if he's still sick. Some of my Boxing Day Christmas dinner crowd attached |
