As you may have noticed, I shoot bluebirds most of the time. They nest in my yard and have for many years. I feed them meal worms so they stay here year 'round. The titmice nest in the woods nearby and several years ago began coming to the deck for meal worms when they had babies in the nest. Those babies have grown and fledged and some are still coming for meal worms, especially when the weather is so raw. They are used to me and not so skittish as titmice usually are, but still they are shy and they wait until the other birds are finished. This gives me lots of time to shoot them as they wait.
