Rose, fantastic shots! I was justing reading about Purple finches and it said that they were big bruisers compared to other finches and there it is in your photo! Resin said I would not see one here, but they've been spotted about 20 minutes west of me. I went looking for them yesterday, but I didn't see them.
We're having record heat which is nice. I think it was 82 yesterday. I don't need a white Christmas. Teddy's photos make me cold enough!

This is probably the worst flicker shot ever posted on these threads, but I'm amazed by it! This bird was so far away that you could not see it with the naked eye. I just saw it fly off and saw the area where it landed, pointed and clicked!
