There is a slope behind the barn and a large oak tree, I guess thru the years there has been some erosion there and of course Oak Tree's do grow, so between the erosion, and the roots pushing up there was that ohhhhhhh so small area where the lines were close to the surface and course while splitting wood it went right thru into the ground and hit the pipe. So here we are running around trying to repair that, and of course did not have the one piece of PVC we needed to patch it. A trip to Tractor Supply later, it's patched but too chilly for the PVC glue to set up. Decided to just shut down the water to that area and we are going to re-route that pipe. I'll be digging today . What fun. Anyway I did get alot of plants out of the barn as it looks like we'll have some decent weather and I can get them watered, check everything and go from there. But look who I found blooming happily away in all the chaos when I started dragging them out ! A Bouganvilla I dug up from my sister's house last year. She passed away 4 years ago, and her son has kept the house. I've brought many plants back to my farm from her yard. |
