missysrose, seeing that you live in Loch Haven, PA brings back a lot of fond memories. And, it's ironic that Loch Haven University's mascot is the Bald Eagle. If I might get off the subject a bit, I traveled many times through Loch Haven via Williamsport & Jersey Shore toward Renovo and onward to Wharton, in Potter County. I belonged to a hunting camp just south of Wharton for nearly 50 years. You live in beautiful country. I would assume an occasional Golden or Bald Eagle wanders along the Susquehanna River near Loch Haven.

I'll keep posting a few photos each day or two until I have exhausted them or you all tell me to stop. This is a photo of an adult Bald Eagle taken a month ago. Nothing beats a blue sky and excellent lighting.
