Judi, I am glad that you came up with what sounds like the perfect solution to your doggie sitting dilema.

I want to say congrats to Beahive and RickCorey for their first place photo contest entries! There were sooooo many fantastic photos this year, and it is always so much fun to go through all of them and see so many different plants, gardens etc. Bonehead, I agree that some of the catagories REALLY need to be split up in order to make it easier to vote. The two you mentioned especially!

A sad note from our part of the world.... We had another loss in our family... our big girl Bonnie crossed over the rainbow bridge last week. Although we knew it was coming within the next year or so, it still hit all of us like a ton of bricks. We are all really tired of losing loved ones in our family... be they human or furries, and hope that the circle of life will leave us in peace for a while now.

On a positive note, Don and I took his brother and my pup Phoenix to the east side for the weekend this last weekend, and had a very nice time. I got lots of one on one time with my pup... we hunted almost all day on Sunday and even conned Don and his brother to walk with us on our last venture. There is nothing that balms a broken heart more than cuddling and playing with a furbaby.
