VA_Wild_Rose, beautiful series. I love seeing owls even though they tend to be a bad omen for me. Maybe the thrill of seeing an owl is nature's way of making up for the bad thing that's about to happen. Might be bad luck to dwell on it!

Resin, loved looking for the starlings. Great start. That squacco heron is great too. Looks like a lot like a green heron.
Kc8btq, had my first two goldfinches of the winter yesterday! Didn't get a good photo and they have their winter colors now, but I was excited to see them. Wish they would stay here for the summer when they have those pretty colors.
Burd, GREAT nuthatches. Love those birds.

I think this is the best picture that I've ever taken of an Eastern Phoebe.
