I had problems once with egg cartons because the size of the spaces simply weren't big enough to hold my tomatoes. I also use Coolwhip and cottage cheese containers to start tomatoes and peppers about 3 weeks before transplanting into larger tray cells. Salad trays from McDonald's also work well with Jiffy pellets to start seeds. Al |
