Have never had a butterfly on dog poo - and my dogs leave plenty in the back yard. Have seen a couple on coyote poo out at the ranch though - but not as many as when I re-hydrate owl pellets. There are also the rare times when Dad will bring in a deer blind for repairs and to clean it out. He'll use the water hose to spray out the inside (why you ask? because someone - not mentioning names - will leave a window cracked open for owls to nest) and clean all the gunk out - there will be hundreds of blues - ceranaus and reakirt's - gathered on the gravel driveway sipping up all that nasty washoff!!!

By the way - he put locks on all his deer blinds this year!!! I never fessed up to leaving the windows opened and would blame it on the illegal aliens crossing our land!!!
