Burn, wish it would rain more here. Don't knock it until you haven't had it! Just transplanted a dwarf Mexican cherry tree that I think is dead from the drought. Lovely bird pics even through the rain!

kc8tbq, I don't want to scare you, but... I had that feeder. I really liked it for a long time until the squirrels or birds got the lid off of it, and a white winged dove tried to get down in it for seed. The dove fell in, was stuck upside-down (white-wings are as fat as the feeder) and died. I found it the next morning when I went to reload. I threw the whole thing out. Now, I have a similar one that opens from the bottom, so no possibility of a dove tragedy.

Got a new bird for backyard and life lists yesterday, a Brown Creeper! I did not get a good photo though. The only decent photo yesterday was this boring old House Sparrow eating Crepe Myrtle seeds.

Have y'all started judging the photo contest? Unbelievable photos and they've given me some great ideas. No bird pics today b/c I am going to be gardening like a crazy woman. I definitely want a fairy pot!
