Early Fall and Mid-late spring are the nicest times, less crowds, late Fall & early spring more for those who like to brave the winds near the shore. I can recommend a couple of good restaurants if you ever come down here, some like this fancy one even have their own fish & vegetable bins where you can pick your own ingredients.

Usually this upscale restaurant would have cost us close to $200 for two in the peak season, it cost us less than less than $100 in the off season last month..
