I got more plants from Aloha. More oleanders and more cannas. I think I need either a drink or a psychiatrist. I got the plants out of their packing and watered and now they are in my warm garage taking a nap. I also received about 20 naked ladies from an iris buddy in Texas for postage. Then I received 25 daylilies, two stalks from Cass in Day lilies because she was thinning our her day lilies for the new introductions. I again paid postage. The day lilies are enormous and very healthy. Dave, I took a photo of my garage area and all my pots. I got part of the garage cleaned today. A truck load of the gardeners stopped by today and 4 guys hopped out. Said they wanted to help me clean the garage. They are with the main crew for the HOA. I said thanks but cannot do. Because you guys would get in trouble and it is all my mess and I know where it needs to go and I need to put it back. But I did give them a trick or treat candy bar. That is what you get back when you are nice to people. I will download the photos tomorrow. I am going to vote tomorrow and that is the only thing I have to do all week. The rest is getting the garage back in order and get my new plants planted and more roots removed.....But I have all week and the weather is going to be beautiful.... Jnette, I bought that plant at Lowes and it is still in the same pot. I am going to put some of the vine in dirt to root. There is about 8 branches low that will be perfect for that. Dave, or anyone, how do your air root?? Lee, it sounds like you had a blast. I am so happy for you. I used to be that out of control for Christmas but a few jerks helped cure me of that. Later. I need to get to bed. This is a coral canna blooming in the front landscape Friday. |
