WormsLovSharon wrote: I am here late. Had a really busy Thursday and Friday and the wind blew it's head off today. We were awoke this morning by the alarm. If you want to wake up fast, that is one way. My feet hit the floor before my eyes were open. Vern immediately got the gun and headed toward the front door at the same time the alarm company was calling. I was trying to turn off the alarm without my glasses on, remember the password, and I had to go potty all at the same time. Talk about a zoo first thing in the morning. Jnette, your beautiful, very large plant is planted into a pot and spent some of the day in a protected spot in the sun. I took a photo. Will post at the end of this. Evelyn, as usual, you look lovely. My laptop is an Apple MacBookPro and I love it. I have had it repaired twice in town. One time it got drenched with a drink of Vodka and one time it fell off the washer while I was printing something and doing something else. Three things at one time crashed my computer. Evelyn, I already have plenty of basil. I actually pick it and make bouquets. I love the smell. I have a purple basil that is beautiful. I think I have the Ajgua you are looking for. I will take a sample tomorrow and take a photo and post tomorrow. Dave, I have received many plants in the 6" x 4" round plots. They are usually indoor plants. But I grow many indoor plants outdoors. I will check to see how much it would cost, the most inexpensive way to get you pots because I can get as many as I want for free from the owner of a large landscape company. Lee have a wonderful time tomorrow evening. I have purchased many large candy bars so you all may be getting candy bar presents. No telling how many are going to show up. It all depends how good the guards are at keeping them out. We are the one of the primary targets for the loot. I love seeing the children but the grown ups dressed taking hands full of bars ticks me off so when I see an adult, I had therm a bar. The little children get to reach in the large hallow bowl and pick what they want. See Dave, we all have something to rant about. JB, how are you feeling? I was folding Vern's socks and took all the sock out o the drawer to just fold the whole group. At the bottom of the drawer was a 5 hour energy drink. I took it out to him and told him I had the other carton. I could go get about 5 and make him a great drink. I cannot believe he hid it in his sock drawer. Jnette, I have a new washer and dryer. LG. I think together they cost about $2200. BUT, you will think you have died and gone to heaven. They both are front loading and you can buy stands to set them on to make them higher. Both washer and dryer has a steam setting. I wash the clothes, dry them and then put them back in the washer on a 30 minuter steam wash. When it is done, it keeps spinning until you take them out. Then you shake, hang on hanger and they just about iron themselves. Lee, if your hibiscus is a hardy, they lose their leaves and go dormant. If it is a tropical hibiscus, you are looking at a dying hibiscus. We are headed back up into the 80s. South West airlines is having a sale on tickets to Las Vegas and I know a nice place to stay but all the rooms are non smoking including the garden. Just a heads up. I will be in the house tomorrow so I will have more time for you my friends,. Dave & JB, I have plants in water waiting to send your way. Remember, the Green grass like fern that you both wanted cutting of, well I have dug up about 10 plants for each of you. Just need to make sure you are OK with them being sent. They are small and go dormant in the winter. Photo of plant from Jnette saved from the freeze. It thinks it is in Heaven here in the SUN. |
