Hi, I've been growing some hollyhocks in pots right outside my backyard door. But then when I transplanted them to the garden a couple days later they appeared with a brown/white ( I don't really know what to say for color but look at the picture) on the leaves and I can't take it off. It's really very annoying and seems that only the hollyhocks get them because I have some celosias right next to them and have never gotten "it". Once I looked at a leaf of a hollyhock and it looked shiny and when I touched it, it was rather sticky so I got some water and poured it on the leaf and rubbed it with my finger but it then turned white and impossible to remove so I removed the leaf. I believe it could be some sort of pest causing this but I don't know what it is. Help me please.
