billyporter wrote: Chris, It's been busy busy busy! We put in a new kitchen floor the other day and I am enjoying it. I also found four Monarch chrysalis's at my neighbors. I have been watering for her since last Wednesday, till this Wednesday. It finally got nice enough to work outside, so I've been digging tulip bulbs that were planted all around the garden edge as a last resort last year, and finding places for them. I have just two varieties left, I think. The magic marker on the utility flags managed to fade or get washed away this summer. I had them numbered as they bloomed. I need to dig three large rhubarb crowns for my SIL and take them down to her. I also started turning some of the South Peony under so I can see where I might have planting room. The dang dirt is so compacted from the summer rains that it's hard to turn without getting huge clumps on either side of the shovel. Every day the walnut tree drops it's nuts and magically fills itself again. I don't think it will ever be empty!! I hope you aren't this crazy busy! I don't really feel like I've accomplished anything yet. Sit back and get some warm sun on your face for me :o) First, my lovely floor! |
