That bird would have made record too, had I saved the lousy photos for documentation. The following is a communication from a records keeper birdwatcher about the titmouse. "Yours are the first verified records for Douglas County and, as such, represent a range extension to the north of perhaps 30-40 miles. There are no previous documented records for the Umpqua drainage; all known range has been in the Rogue Valley, north to the foothills above Sams Valley and north to the vicinity of Sexton Mountain."
