The following is a communication from a records keeper birdwatcher about the titmouse.

"Yours are the first verified records for Douglas County and, as such,
represent a range extension to the north of perhaps 30-40 miles. There are
no previous documented records for the Umpqua drainage; all known range has
been in the Rogue Valley, north to the foothills above Sams Valley and north
to the vicinity of Sexton Mountain."

Edited to mention that the Rogue Valley is south in Jackson County which borders California.
