I have not used bloom booster to water with yet, I wait till the roots are really established and strong.. I'm afraid that it will either kill the plant or dry the pollen, or weaken it. I was going to start that next week. I've never gotten blooms under 60 days, maybe one time at 57 days..lol, but, other than that, you guys that get the early blooms are sooooooo lucky. I envy you. I'v got 1/2 of the seedlings under lights 24/7 and 1/2 the seedlings with window light only and dark nights. So, it will be interesting to see if the short day does anything to them. Don't I wish I got blooms within 30-40 days. Which week do you start full bloom boost ferilizing? I've been giving them fish emulsion, diluted organic fertilizers almost every watering, and mist daily with some MG on the leaves only. I'm hoping for some very long lasting and durable plants here, but, this is the first time I grow during the winter and keep them indoors, usually I start them indoors and by Spring they are ready for outdoors and stay there all summer/fall. Hopefully I don't kill them all. Here is Shikanako which I'm growing for seeds only, to replace seed stock, fingers crossed here. The seed for Shikanako germinated in a couple of hours in the water, burst and the cotyledons were just floating out of the seedcoat.. it survived and is looking good, it took awhile for it to get growing too. It is a lot smaller than all the rest. But healthy. |
