I was told that the matchstick bromeliad would come back in my zone, which I found to be false, It was fortunate that I saved a start in the GH.

I am giving my gingers the evil-eye, most of the buds either fall off or turn brown and dry. Maybe next year will be my time for profuse ginger blooms.
