I have a variegated brug (which is no longer variegated) that gets defoliated every year by smallish green caterpillars. I applied sevin powder a couple weeks ago, but it's still small and I'm just hoping for a few white blossoms before autumn freezes. I forget the name of this flower, but I love it. Each year, just before a hard freeze, I cut their stems into 6" segments and root over winter. I love that they root so easily, so I can share them with friends. |
