joeswife wrote: I am back from my adventures ... I did not go to Buffalo , NY this year with DH. I did have a nice Morning Glory Breakfast with a few DGrs. It was casually pleasant. I also went to my sons place with a DGr who I invited to come stay a couple days with me. We went to tropicmans place too and his place looks twice as big with tropicals than last year. He built two more areas and a greenhouse addition. I do not know how he does it. He is by himself when it is Gardening. His Plants were varied and beautiful and I got a few pictures . Rachel, I am glad you like the plants and seeds I sent you. I have brought in all the Anthuriums now. ( I hope) Can't wait to see how DH likes one hanging in the Bedroom. There was a hook already , so ...Now for the Philos.. tropicbreeze, I really am having fun with those wild MG seeds. I hope you got the ones I sent you..I worry about shipping letters and Packets out of the states, and hold my breath until I know it has arrived.. I have had a bloom and hope I see a few more tomorrow.. I was given a few more plants. A Pagoda plant, a polkadot plant, a big Plumeria, a candle bush tree with a bloom bud and ants, a pride of baradoes, a banana, a palm, two more named brugs, a new voodoo lily venusm, ( sp.) , found a patch of Pandurata and picked some, a field of wild hederacera, and patch of white star, and I am happy as a lark in a tree. Rita, is it your birthday yet? This week was the birthday week for 4 members of my immediate family. This is for you, Rita, Happy Birthday in September.. This is in Eskridge, Kansas, she said she got it at walmart a few years ago, it is huge. |
