Pughbear7 wrote: I second that JB... we hit 92 today of course I am not complaining. its a lot better than the triple digits. well we got the floor down and all we have to do is paint it. we have to save our pennies for carpet so if you see me on the corner with a bucket please honk.... well I managed to get 2 drains put into my north bed. our neighbor came over complaining about rain water backing up in his yard and washing away his dirt along the sidewalk. we came to the conclusion that we needed to put in a few drains to solve the problem. once he saw what we were dealing with he calmed down especially when we were not argueing with him. I hope it is fixed now, I am in no shape to be digging a trench for more drain pipe. I found this 6" wide one inch tall plastic waffeled sheet covered with a heavy felt like material. I laid it flat but I am sure it would work up and down too. the pic is of the second trench. it about killed me as I was way past time to lay down. oh well I can die tomorrow and monday. I bought a new soluble foliar feed 20-20-20 with minors. its got .02% copper, 0.10% iron, 0.05% manganese, 0.0005% Molybdenum, 0.05% chelated zinc ... The 25# tub was $54.00 but I really wanted it. I used a foliar feed when I was growing tropicals in south florida. I had a couple hundred Bleeding heart vines that the leaves were so green they were almost black. ok who can pronounce Molybdenum??? ......................... mol - lyb - de - num ..... its a mouthfull. poinsettia's have a higher need for this nutrient JB you might want to look into it as another plant to grow. I fell in love with it. .... You do need more plants to grow don't you???? lol http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/506/ well I am going to lay down after I take a quick shower. I know it will feel mavvvaalous ...just maaahvalous..... I did spell that correctly didn't I??? |
