While supervising my grandson in planting the 3 azaleas, i noticed that some dry bare soil appeared white ..... this same soil appeared medium tan to me yesterday. my grandson confirmed that the soil was on the whitish side.

This is the first time in ages I do not need glasses when using the computer. YEAH

Jeanette .... the plants arrived today .... I will plant them tomorrow after my appointment with the eye doctor. The picture is of the plants resting in tiny plastic cups containing water.

As the newest regular participant of this thread, I am trying to learn as much as I can from you. I have not had too much success with commercial insecticides ... including bare .... I am not afraid of trying other alternatives ...... I think if I had mite or white fly problem, I would use a garlic spray .... I find insects do not like garlic and will stop nibbling on my plants if I spray them with a solution containing garlic.
