There's a sweet older man (74 yo) at church, who I've "adopted" as my daddy - he's such a sweetheart! He asked me, seeing as how he's now my adopted daddy, if I did my homework last night - told him I did practice for my solo! So I'm in his good books

I'm going to try to find a tape recorder for the 29th for my solo so I can tape it for my sweet Mom who lives so far away from me in Winnipeg. She's thrilled I will be sending her the tape. I've got to do well for her, as well as the LORD. I'll be singing Whispering Hope (it was my maternal grandmother's favourite), so therefore my DM and self's favourite, too.
