This morning I got a considerable amount of used coffee grounds from a local Dunkin Donuts, I used plastic knives to temporairly mark my daylilies. Using a permanent black maeker, I wrote the IDs on both top and bottom of each knife.

If the ID becomes faded on the top part, all I have to do is pull up the knife to see what is written on the part protected by soil from the sun.

Here is a picture of the 2 hydrageas I purchased a few weeks ago. They seem to like their new home. The area they are in is a future garden improvement projecy.
