In 2003 we had 9 days of hundred temps or more. 1980 we had 15 days of 100 temps or more in JUNE. 1987 we had a record DRY August. Still no rain here yet. I keep praying. Every thing is crispy, except for my gardens. For 30 dollars a month extra, I can enjoy a tropical setting.
Most people have automatic watering systems. they are saying their water bills are in the three hundreds right now. NO WAY am I going to water grass that will turn green with the next rain.
