Same here, everything early and shorter bloom time than usual. Good thing I deadheaded some things like monarda ,balloon flower and phlox or there wouldn't be much at all out there with any color. The long drought has not helped either. Thursday rain(less than a half inch) did help perk things up a bit but there are yellow leaves and more things that look like early sept than aug.
This is one thing hat has been blooming a good while and in full sun to boot. It is supposed to be sterile so that explains the long bloom time.
