It should have been ok...they do like alot of water when it's hot...I have several growing one gets 6-7 hours of our full sun, one in part shade and one in a hanging basket under the oaks. Get's dappled sun/shade. They all bloom, the one in the most sun not as much right now, but it's in the 80's OVERNIGHT ! here right now. So some things are just saying "nope" not gonna happen right now.

Candela, well I'm gonna move my Vanda....It's probably in too much shade way up under the Oaks....I can put it where it get's a bit more sun.
I'm just wondering if it would be too cold here for the Sea Hibiscus....
