What a lovely message, Louise! Thank you. Love the soft coloring on that daylily. It reminds me a bit of one of my own.

Had to smile at your comment about me being encouraging. Back in March someone on the Hydrangea Forum had to cut back his hydrangeas and wanted to know if the cuttings would root. I told him he had nothing to lose by trying and that I was facing the same problem. I put my cuttings in potting soil and now have another dozen hydrangeas! Another person had posted telling him it was the wrong time, etc. but I was happy to be encouraging and hope he got something for his effort.
