And I found this wonderful cough syrup with codeine, that settles my cough and throat wonderfully well!! It's called Calmylin and it isn't sold "over the counter"- it's behind the pharmacist's counter, and doesn't need a prescription here. You have to fill out a whole whack of paperwork to get it though...... guess some people use it to get "high".....
My cough hasn't bothered me a bit when I take it.
And my knee, that always gives me trouble, is probably better for all the exercise I got - climbing hills, horseback riding, etc. I've got a pic of me on top of a steep hill I climbed on. What a view of the mountains from the valley we were in when I was on the hill!! I wish I'd brought my camera with me, but it was a last minute decision to climb, and it was Steep! Mostly only kids climbed it, or 20 yo's!! I'm 56!! It was steeper than it looks, and no true path (very stony/rocky with a few stout roots to grab onto at need and those only in the middle of the climb).
