Rachel, thanks for letting me know about the Cucullata, I do love it so much. It is now 2 years old.
I have to share this magnolia with you all. The older couple two blocks north have two trees that are as tall as any old Kansas elm tree here.. it is a joy to walk past and smell the blooms every summer..they are as big as my large salad plates. Last year I got some of the seeds from this tree, still waiting to see one come up.
