I've moved them all into a corner.. where they overshadow one another.. they would like it better out alone.. soaking up as much sun as available.. and sitting down on...and out in the middle of a big expance of my 162* F roof.. in full sun....as it is only a 12" seedling of Amarons Curley white... in a 6" clay pot.. no saucer... gets to sit out with a few feeet of open heat around it.. I bet it puts out a new leaf a day that way pictured from above.. the 6-8 plants that make up the plumeria grove.. .[ grove = jamed back together in a corner ] Dee.. plumeria get to be about 60' tall.. in Panama I climbed some that were easily that tall... in Nicaragua.. they were the last tree or anything other than grass... that grew right up to the edge of an open lava pit volcano opening.. sulpher gasses washing over them.. and their roots growing down into the soil over the lava below.. that's how I know they like my unshielded roof temps... and they do... = |
