I am posting a photo of one of my lantanas. I purchased this baby from Wayside 3 years. Probably for something obnoxious in price. Well it was true to the says. First year nothing a=bout the side of a small cup. Second year about the size of a small plate. This year it has arrived.

If you lovely gardeners will notice, the majority of everything I have planted is in either a pot or a raised garden. I discovered over 10 years ago that it is just about impossible to grow in the desert at ground level because of the horrible soil and the constant winds. Here they call them high winds, in Florida they are call hurricanes. It is easier to improve the soil if it is in a container or a raised bed.
