My online name should be WeedsLoveEvelyn, huh Sharon? I know, more mulch...I need to mulch at least an acre to make everything look nice, but I am doing one section at a time. It is too hot to stay outdoors all day, like springtime, of which was way too short for me. Once the ground was not sopping I had to hurry as then it gets all hot and dried up.

I see something coming up from the seeds I sowed on the 7th....already! And they were all old seeds. Now I have the new seeds with me but is it too late to sow the squash, melons, beans, etc??? I am working to extend that area by the fence for those items. All of that should have been done last fall and this spring, but I suppose we cannot really go back in time to do what "should have been done", as there may have been more important things to do at the time. We just cannot be in all places at once. So "Onward and Upward", as Katherine White would say...
