Victor, halfway to Acadia . I'm in the 1920 Cottage I told you about. It's located in Stockton Springs, Maine...a sleepy little town with lots of charm and quiet.
This place is above me, http://www.rfpmaine.com/splash.php on the cliff to my left. Very impressive, however, I love this cottage for it's simplicity and serenity. It's called Driftwood Cottage on Sandy Point, in Stockton Springs, Maine. I pass the "Retreat" on my way to the cottage, wich s located at the bottom of a dirt road. The road ends on the beach and the only access is to walk 200 feet across the beach to the cottage. Or decend 260-something stairs that are lovingly bulit and cared for. Secluded enough?
