I sliced my big toe with a shovel today...it was my fault, as I rarely use the shovel without boots, even in hot weather. I have put row cover over one SFG to shield them from the heat and hopefully they will not bolt too soon. If they get bitter I will pull them all, but so far, they are wonderful and tender.

I want to finish the new perennial bed...it is almost all planted, but it look quite sparse as everything is fairly small. I think the spacing is about right, however.

The basil is getting bigger....anyone like pesto?
