I'm glad to 'hear' you too are slowing down too as the weather heats up -- I am not alone either. Great start to the new thread, thank you. It would be so interesting to see the Ospreys babies fledge. Red, those water fowls are a nice source of joy to watch. I have yet successful at capturing a Green Heron picture, but lo and behold; I stumbled upon one which was hiding behind my ginger container planting yesterday morning when I walked right up to it, just to catch the glimpse of it flying away. No camera ofcourse at that kodak moment. I never have seen a bobolinks myself. Marna, thank you for posting your Eastern Kingbird. I saw quite a few around my corner of the woods, but wasn't able to catch a good clear photo of one. Duc, it's awesome to see the Juvie Bald Eagle so close to your residence. Last time I attempted to return to the local Eagle nest, a storm was nearby so I ran for cover. Thus missed their latest happenings. Okay folks, the good news is my Cardinals are sitting on their nest. This morning I saw Papa in the nest. But the remainder of the day, the Moma is seen sitting there. |
